Lars' First Day Skiing

Well we finally got Lars out skiing. We waited for the perfect day. It was warm and sunny and the snow was soft. The only thing is by the time we reached the mountain with all our gear and had the kids ready to go it was nap time.

The wonderful bus ride down from the upper parking lot. I think the anticipation is growing. Lars doesn't look so sure anymore.

We are finally ready to go get on the lift!

As I said earlier it is nap time. I think that is why we had so many tears in this next video.

We decided to sit down and take a little rest.

He fell asleep!

It's a good thing mom has done this a time or two!

After we took a little nap inside the Yurt and with much encouragement from Mom Lars decided to go up for one more run. This time he had a little bug puppet with him that he was going to scare his Dad and Hailey with when we found them.

Despite the tears Lars still talks about his day Skiing and wants to go again!

We had a great day and made some great memories. It also gave me new appreciation for my parents and what they went through to get five children to the mountain for a ski day.
