Have A Toy!

So the other day while I was cleaning the house Lars decided to play toys with Maggie. I came in the room and found that he had all of her toys stacked on top of her. Maggie was delighted. What a great Big Brother!

No More Bassinet

I have been trying to keep Maggie in the newborn stage as long as possible but I couldn't stop her growing so I finally gave in and moved her to her Crib. Yes for the last four almost five months she has been in a little tiny crib/bassinet. It is this cute 1940's hospital bed that my mom found and a Cub Scout fundraiser. We painted it and Lars slept in it the first few months of his life and then we passed it along to Maggie. I just love it and so I have tried to keep Maggie in it for as long as possible. I think that the real reason I kept her in it so long is that it makes me so sad to think that my little Maggie is no longer a newborn. They grow way to fast!

Here is a picture of Maggie's new crib. I ended up using the same bedding that I used for Hailey. I still think it is pretty cute if I do say so myself. Byron and Lars set it up for me last Sunday and Lars kept saying the whole time "Maggie is going to love it" and I think she does! She had no problem going to the crib in fact I think she likes the extra room. We have now given the little crib to Nate and Lisa as they are anticipating the arrival of little baby Beck I can't wait to see him in it!

Like Father Like Son

For some reason Byron LOVES to shovel snow. We pay for the HOA to do the shoveling but if Byron can get to it first he does. It makes him happy and I am sure the guys who are hired to do the snow removal don't mind either. After one of our many snow storms this winter Byron got out with his shovel and Lars was right behind him. Lars even found one of Byron's hats and was so excited to go and shovel with his dad. They had a great time as you can see.

Skiing at Sundance

Hailey was out of school last Friday so we took advantage it and went Skiing! We had such a great time but it was so stinking cold! We have had a great winter this year. It stinks that we are all so busy we don't get to ski as much as we would like to. We want to get Lars out skiing with us this year but I am not sure it will happen. He talks like he wants to go but when it comes right down to going he decides he doesn't want to. That boy is ALL TALK!

Today is the first day Hailey used poles. She was very excited and got the hang of them quickly.
Hailey Started to ski with us when she was about 2 1/2 years old. She loves it.
I think she would ski every day if she could.

Christmas 2007

I finally downloaded the pictures from Christmas. Here are a few.

Maggie in her new chair.

Lars is so excited!

Hailey can't wait to open her gifts.

Christmas breakfast in our family consists of O.J., Monkey bread, Eggs, and Venison Steaks (deer meat for those who didn't know)Yum!

Hailey would rather play with her new Digital Pet Shop than eat breakfast. Isn't Christmas so exciting! We had such a great time.

Fun In The Snow

Byron and Hailey went out last Friday night to make a snow fort in the huge pile of snow at the end of our street. They were out until about 10:30pm. Hailey came in frozen solid! So Saturday they spent most of the afternoon out playing in their new fort. Lars joined them (He has finally gotten over the stress of having snow on his boots) and they had a great time. Pretty soon Maggie and I were feeling left out so we went out to join in the fun. Here are some pictures and a few video clips of our day.

Cute Maggie all bundled up.

Note the pink boots and goggles Lars is wearing. Can you Say Hand Me Downs. The great thing is that he could care less. He loves them!
